This weekend sees York host Alnwick in the final league game of the 24/25 season. York sit in 4th place and Alnwick 5th so with two top teams involved we should see some exciting top quality rugby on display. We also have the 2's playing so plenty of Rugby to watch.
The 2's kick off at 2:30pm and the 1's at 3pm.
Of special note this weekend is that it will be crowd favourite Lewi Jacksons last game in a York shirt for a while. Lewi is moving to ply his trade in New Zealand, flying out next week. He isn;t giving up Rugby though as he will play for Stoke on the Northern tip of South Island. No doubt they will love his 'bullocking' runs as much as we will miss them. All the best Lewi, have a great adventure 'down under'.
Don't forget we still have the First Round of the Papa Johns Cup away to Scunthorpe next weekend (12th April) and the Final of the Yorkshire Cup, which York have never won, taking place on Sat 24th May at South Leeds Stadium.
