Kevin died on April 19th 2019 - a week after the end of last season. Sadly, the opportunity to remember him and pay respect wasn't available as no further games were to be played.
He had been a member of the club for many years and had been the 1st XV Kit Man and the man who 'cleared up' after each game - always in club shirt, blazer with club badge,tie and baseball cap! He was a regular in the club and kept up the sales of Stella!
Even after cancer had taken his voice box, he was still there - using his 'gizmo' to continue being able to hold a conversation. Sadly, in the last few weeks of life, Kevin lost the ability of speech.

The decision was taken to have a minutes silence at the last home game of this season - the match against Driffield RUFC this Saturday, April 18th. Virtually on the first anniversary of Kevin's death, it seemed perfect - especially as he would have been absolutely made up by the achievement of the 1st XV - then came coronavirus and the lockdown.

So, on Saturday April 18th, please observe your own minutes silence at 3.00pm - kick off time.
